Senior Guide STL joined the Senior Resource Fair on October 27, 2026, at Water’s Edge Banquet Center in St. Peters, Missouri, to connect with attendees and share a starting point for navigating senior transitions. Hosted by the St. Peters Senior Advisory Committee, the free event brought local services and community information together in St. Charles County.
For us, it was an opportunity to put a simple idea into practice: a little clarity can start with a conversation.
Connecting face to face in St. Peters
Throughout the morning, visitors stopped at our table, browsed printed information, and connected with the people behind Senior Guide STL. The photos from the day capture those everyday moments: looking through a brochure together, sharing information across the table, and taking time for a conversation.
A website can help someone explore options at their own pace. An event creates space to meet people, ask a question, and discover a resource they may want to revisit later. Both are part of how we want to serve older adults, caregivers, and families across Greater St. Louis.
Thank you to MÉDA and Realtor Kelley Simms for being part of the day with us, and to everyone who stopped by our table. We also appreciate the St. Peters Senior Advisory Committee and the local organizations that made the fair possible.

Start with the situation your family is facing
Senior Guide STL is a free educational resource for older adults and the people supporting them. Our approach begins with the situation a family is navigating—helping an aging parent, considering support at home, preparing to downsize, or exploring senior living.
Those decisions often connect. A move may involve belongings, transportation, family responsibilities, and changing care needs. Naming the question directly in front of you can make the next step easier to identify.
You can explore senior transition guidance ↗ or browse our Greater St. Louis resource directory ↗ whenever you need a starting point.
Where St. Charles County families can start after the fair
If you came home with brochures and several possible next steps, begin with one question you want answered. Keep the information that relates to that question together, then contact the appropriate organization to ask about its service area, eligibility, availability, and any costs.
For residents of St. Peters, St. Charles, St. Charles County’s other communities, and the family members helping them, these are useful places to begin:
- Local information and service categories: Senior Guide STL’s resource directory ↗ brings public starting points and senior-service categories together.
- Public aging-service information: The directory links to Aging Ahead ↗, which serves St. Charles, St. Louis, Jefferson, and Franklin counties. Contact the organization to discuss the programs appropriate to your circumstances.
- Information about the fair: The City of St. Peters Senior Resource Fair page ↗ identifies the organizer and provides the city’s event contact information.
Confirm that a resource serves your ZIP code before making plans. Programs available in one part of Greater St. Louis may have different boundaries or eligibility requirements elsewhere.

Continuing the conversation across Greater St. Louis
The St. Peters fair is part of our ongoing effort to connect useful information with the people who need it. It follows Senior Guide STL’s recent appearance on FOX 2’s Studio STL, where we had another opportunity to introduce the resource to the community.
We want families in St. Charles County and across Greater St. Louis to know they can return to Senior Guide STL as questions change. You do not need to have every answer before taking a first step.
Find your starting point at SeniorGuideSTL.com ↗. Share the guide with someone preparing for a transition or helping a loved one navigate one.
